Choosing a Sofa
Brandon and I have been searching and searching for the “perfect” couch for our place and it has thus far been the hardest decision. After continuously looking at what seemed dozens of furniture stores in LA and Santa Monica.. we’ve narrowed it down to this couch: Room and Board’s “Townsend” Sectional. What do you think?

Goodbye Home!
Said goodbye to our little home last night. I’ve never been so sad to leave a place so dear to me :( But the countdown begins! Only 7 more weeks until we begin decorating/designing our new place :) I’ve been stalking apartment therapy and buying up any good finds we come across. Back from Down Under!
G’day mates! We’re finally back from our short trip to Australia. It was nice to unwind and get away from our constant use of our computers and iPhones and to get back in touch with all the natural beauty around us. Vintage Luggage
Found some really reasonably priced vintage luggage at an antique store in Old Towne Orange the other weekend. Thinking about going back and picking them up to put in our office as decor or I’m sure I’ll find a use for them!

For some reason I can’t get away from the Grey walls. :) Found this on one of apartmenttherapy.com’s recent posts and am really digging it!
And! They even included the exact Valspar paints they used in the post! Definitely going to go check them out this weekend.

Roughly 24 more days before we leave! Ah.. Can’t wait to go hiking and see this beautiful rainfall. :)

I can't wait..
until we go to Australia! I’ve already planned a Kayaking trip on the Brisbane River and an all day hiking trip through the Central Eastern Rainforest to visit the waterfalls and grottos. Mm.. counting down the days (less than a month away!)

Hotel Inspirations - Photo Headboard
I’ve been looking at famous hotels for inspiration + decorating tips and I came across the Anemi Hotel in Greece who uses canvas photographs as headboards! I’d like to do this someday and use some of our photographs that we’ve taken during travel.
Maps as art?
Brandon and I we’re talking about future decorating ideas for the new place (which should be built by the next two months.. Yay!) and he thought of the brilliant idea of using a vintage/unique map as art on the wall and pinning areas of the world we’ve visited. I’m really digging the idea of purchasing these 6 part canvas map and putting either over the bed or in the office. What...

Designing your own kitchen..
requires so much work/research/decision making. So far, we’ve decided on white cabinets + black granite.. Now how about the backsplash? I’m thinking of some type of white subway-like tile. What do you think?
